Dear friends and colleagues,

We are delighted to personally welcome each of you to the Shoulder & Knee Arthroscopy to Arthroplasty Symposium 2025: Current Concepts in Shoulder and Knee Pathology. This year, we’re excited to expand our focus to include knee pathology alongside shoulder pathology. It’s a dynamic time for shoulder and knee surgeons as we continue to evolve, remaining adaptable, motivated, and open to new ideas and perspectives.

Our field is navigating significant changes, both nationally and globally, and we are encountering these shifts head-on. The world of shoulder and knee pathology is an exciting and specialized area that continues to bring together passionate and innovative professionals. This year, we are proud to present twelve live surgeries—six shoulder and six knee—including complex arthroscopy cases, knee osteotomy, and arthroplasty with navigation. You’ll also experience the latest techniques in instability management and discussions on many of the hot topics in knee and shoulder pathology today.

Our aim is to provide fresh insights and present the latest advancements in knee and shoulder treatment, inspiring your future work. Together, we’ll explore the most up-to-date methods in surgical treatment for meniscus and cartilage lesions, ligament reconstructions, and osteotomy around the knee. In knee arthroplasty, we’ll cover both partial and total procedures, including alignment considerations and patellofemoral arthroplasty, with in-depth discussions on potential complications.

In shoulder arthroscopy, we'll delve into new treatment options, ranging from rotator cuff repair to managing glenohumeral instability. We'll cover everything from soft tissue techniques to the Latarjet procedure, and highlight new bony procedures. The shoulder arthroplasty sessions will feature discussions on stemless implants and explore both total and reverse shoulder replacements.

At the core of our mission is the constant pursuit of improving surgical techniques—whether it's enhancing tendon ingrowth, achieving long-term stability, or optimizing outcomes after arthroplasty. Equally important is refining the timing and indications for different surgical approaches in knee and shoulder pathology, learning tips and tricks, and managing complications effectively.

The entire event will be recorded and made available on the Beemed platform for further reference.

In conclusion, we extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you for attending this symposium and for bringing your expertise to this gathering. Your vision, knowledge, and experience are invaluable as we shape the future of knee and shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty. We encourage you to stay engaged, proactive, and collaborative throughout the event. Our sincere gratitude goes to all of you.
