Professor Dr. Nejc Šarabon is a nationally and internationally recognised expert in the fields of kinesiology,
physiotherapy, and movement metrology. As a full professor at the University of Primorska, he focuses on developing innovative methods for assessing motor abilities and on the prevention and rehabilitation of movement dysfunctions. His work includes the development of advanced measurement technologies and innovations in biomechanics, as evidenced by 16 national and 4 international patents. He is the author of more than 200 scientific articles and an active researcher in international projects addressing movement therapy, ergonomics, and the impact of physical (in)activity on health. His collaborations with renowned universities and companies such as Kistler Instrumente, Sparta Science, the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute, Jožef Stefan Institute, Fotona, Iskra Medical, Thera-Band, among others, contribute to the transfer of scientific knowledge into practice. As a lecturer and mentor, he has co-created numerous study programmes in applied kinesiology and physiotherapy, training new generations of professionals.
