In 2023, obtained the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University
– Skopje. In 2005, completed a specialization in Orthopedic Surgery at the same university. In 1993, earned the degree of Doctor of General Medicine at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University. In 1986, graduated as a Medical Technician from the Nikola Shtejn Secondary Medical School in Tetovo.
Work Experience
Since 2024, working as a Specialist in Orthopedic Surgery at “Zan Mitrev” Clinical Hospital in Skopje. In 2001, joined the PHI General City Hospital “8th September” – Skopje, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology. In 1997, served at the Medical Service of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia. In 1996, worked at the Primary Healthcare Institution BaMi Cor Medica in Tetovo.
Additional Education
Since 2016, engaged in Knee Endoprosthetic Replacement and Unicondylar Knee Endoprosthesis training for the Southeast Europe region. Served as an instructor in Arthroscopic Knee Surgery in Ljubljana in 2023 and 2024. In April 2008, attended the Military Academy – GATA, Ankara, Turkey, for residency and special training in Arthroscopic Knee Surgery. Participated in the LIVE Arthroscopy Festival in Portorož, Slovenia, in 2009 and 2011. Completed the Revision Knee Instructional Course in Hamburg, Germany, in September 2010, and the Specialized Topics in Revision Knee Learning Centre in Hamburg in October 2011. Attended ArthroParis in Paris, France, in November 2014. Participated in EFORT congresses in Nice, France (May 2008), London, United Kingdom (June 2014), and Prague, Czech Republic (May 2015). Attended the AAOS meetings in San Diego, USA (February 2011), and Chicago, USA (March 2013). Took part in the S2S Visit in Rome, Italy (November 2017), focusing on revision knee surgery, primary knee surgery, and mono knee surgery. Completed the “Arthrex Knee Workshop” at Arthrolab in Munich, Germany, in 2016 and 2018. Undertook residency and training in knee surgery at Valdoltra Specialized Orthopaedic Hospital in Slovenia in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2018.
Professional Skills
Extensive experience in hip and knee endoprosthetic replacement, including total and partial (unicondylar knee endoprosthesis) procedures. Skilled in minimally invasive arthroscopic knee surgery, such as reconstruction of anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments, medial and lateral collateral ligaments, medial patellofemoral ligament, meniscus repair, and treatment of damaged articular cartilage. Proficient in arthroscopic treatment of ankle injuries, osteosynthesis for surgical fracture treatment, and revision endoprosthetic procedures.

Member of the Macedonian Association of Orthopaedists and Traumatologists (MADOT) and President of the Arthroscopic Association of the Republic of North Macedonia (AASM). Also a member of the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) and the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery, and Arthroscopy (ESSKA).
