He completed his Doctoral Thesis, obtaining a Cum Laude grade on Meniscal Transplantation (Autonomous University of Barcelona – 2020), in addition to receiving the UAB Extraordinary Doctorate Award.
He completed a fellowship at the Knee and Arthroscopy Unit of the “Institut Català de Traumatologia i Medicina de l'Esport (ICATME)” between 2013 and 2015. He was a resident in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology at the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol (UAB. 2008 -2013). He obtained his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona (UB – Hospital Clínic, 2001-2007).
Author of more than 100 communications in international and national congresses, as well as more than 20 publications in high-impact international journals and book chapters. He was trained in sports traumatology in the Medical Services of FC Barcelona and Real Sporting de Gijón, and is currently a collaborator of the Medical Services of FC Barcelona.
He is a member of the Spanish Arthroscopy Association (AEA), European Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthrcopy (ESSKA), Spanish Society of Sports Traumatology (SETRADE), Spanish Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SECOT) and Catalan Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SCCOT), among others. He is currently Coordinator of the Final Degree Projects of the National Arthroscopic Training Plan (PNFA-TEACA) and a teaching professor of advanced knee surgery courses of the Spanish Arthroscopy Association and the Spanish Knee Society.”
