I have over 20 years of experience in sports injury rehabilitation, working with athletes with disabilities,
and performing muscle performance assessments using isokinetic dynamometry. Since 2023, I have been heading the Physiotherapy Department at the Outpatient Rehabilitation Service, University Rehabilitation Institute of the Republic of Slovenia, Soča. In my daily work, I apply a wide range of physiotherapy methods, including Cyriax, Mulligan, McKenzie, Kinesiotaping, Trigger Point Therapy, and Fascia Therapy.
My professional experience also includes extensive collaboration with various sports clubs and organizations. I have worked closely with the Sports Federation for the Disabled of Slovenia, the Slovenian Paralympic Committee, the Slovenian Deaf Basketball Team, the Slovenian Men’s Alpine Ski Team, and the Coronary Club Ljubljana. Additionally, I contributed as a medical expert to the post-war training of physiotherapists in Libya, sharing expertise in rehabilitation and supporting the development of professional standards in physiotherapy. Throughout my career, I have also presented at international congresses and symposia, and participated in projects such as Erasmus+ – Effects of Sports Activity on Health and Quality of Life in Young People with Disabilities.
